FROM SHIZUOKA WITH LOVE

Dr Sheva Co., Ltd Laboratories was established on April 1st 2018 under the leadership of Dr Shimosheba. Dr Shimosheba has been researching and developing beauty products for more than 30 years.

Before establishing Dr Sheva Co., Ltd Japan, Dr. Shimosheba had been researching and developing cosmetic products in Jujin Hospital, Ginza, Tokyo which is a famous and well-renowned cosmetic manufacturer and a major OEM company in Japan. Dr Shimosheba was truly impressed with the positive effects of using Bluefin tuna collagen in cosmetics; hence the creation of Dr Sheva products.

THE WORLD’S FIRST BLUEFIN TUNA COLLAGEN

Japan is known as one of the world's largest consumers of tuna fish. In line with sustainable fishery and farming efforts globally, our laboratory has sought ways to reduce aquaculture waste, especially of such a precious natural resource. We’ve discovered a secret of this nutritious treasure of the sea, particularly the scales, which are especially rich in collagen. With our patented extraction and hydrolysation methods, the team at Dr Sheva Laboratories was able to break the collagen and elastin into molecules - fine enough to penetrate into and nourish your skin.

It is indeed our greatest honour to share this secret and gift of youthful, healthy skin with the world.

LABORATORY EXPLANATION ON THE USE OF MARINE COLLAGEN

The main reason why we chose marine collagen and marine elastin is because they do not produce problems such as BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) or Mad Cow Disease. Tuna collagen contains a material that is similar to our body, which is the amino acid composition.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COLLAGEN vs. COLLAGEN PEPTIDES?

A main difference between collagen vs. collagen peptides is that collagen peptides are generally more bioavailable – they are better absorbed into the bloodstream because they are much shorter chains of amino acids than collagen and gelatin. Because they’re fully hydrolysed and therefore shorter, collagen peptides are more readily broken down into a form that can enter the bloodstream upon digestion.  To put it simply, collagen peptides are the more broken-down form of collagen.

PATENTED HYDROLYSATION TECHNOLOGY

Brings Revolution to Our Skin

Hydrolysation is a process that breaks down long collagen polypeptide chains into tiny tripeptides, the smallest molecular sizes of collagen and elastin for maximum bioavailability and absorption.

With hydrolysation, these already small particles of collagen and elastin are further broken down for up to double the transdermal absorption rate and efficacy versus unhydrolyzed collagens.

PUREST & FINEST SOURCE

4.4 billion years ago, Earth was underwater. Life began in the ocean, thus humans evolved from marine life. Marine and fish collagen remains the simplest, purest, yet most evolved collagen with the lowest molecular weight and bioavailability known to man.

Unlike collagen sourced from other poultry such as cows, chickens or other animals, fish and marine collagen remain relatively disease-free. Fish is also dietarily more universal and permissible across most cultures. Both fish scales and skin are exceptionally rich in Type I collagen and elastin.

COLLAGEN ELASTIN GEL-SERUM TO SUBSTITUDE TONERS & MOISTURIZER

Unlike regular collagen creams, tripeptides are small enough to penetrate our skin, making it the most bioavailable form of collagen and elastin today.

The presence of collagen within our skin triggers an auto wound-repair mechanism. This tricks our brain into signaling surrounding fibroblasts to synthesize new collagen to aid the healing process.

As collagen strengthens our skin, elastin gives it elasticity - the ability to stretch and bounce back for healthier and younger skin we can see and feel.
